Are aliens the most OP race in WorldBox?
They are the race you most need to be careful with. Alien saucers, the alien blaster and the aliens themselves can tip the balance of any world very quickly. Aliens clone themselves and bring top-tier technology into a medieval world, so a single crash site can turn into a threat to every kingdom on the map.
They are also hard to kill. Aliens are immortal, regenerate, are immune to acid and bleed acid when they die, so even a won fight leaves damage behind. Elves are usually called the strongest of the four classic races (see what happens when elves meet orcs), but none of them has a ray gun.
How do you get aliens in WorldBox?
Aliens only appear when a UFO is destroyed. Spawn a UFO from the Animals, Creatures and Monsters tab, then shoot it down. Usually one alien climbs out of the wreck, and occasionally two or three. If you can’t spawn UFOs yourself, wait for the Alien Invasion disaster, which can strike during the Age of Moon.
UFOs float around watching the world and only attack when provoked, usually by archers or mages. Click and hold a UFO to make it fire its laser beam.
What does the alien blaster do?
Every alien carries an alien blaster, one of the very few guns in WorldBox. It fires fast plasma shots that explode on impact, hurting everything nearby and scorching the ground. If no enemies are around, aliens can even settle and form their own kingdom, and a civilisation armed with blasters becomes a real menace to its neighbours.
How do you stop an alien invasion?
- Leave UFOs alone if you don’t want aliens. Keep archers and mages away from them, because shooting a saucer down is what releases the aliens.
- Contain the crash site. Wall it off with mountain and summit tiles, the same trick used in the battle royale map guide.
- Fight them away from your towns, since their acid blood damages whatever it touches.
- Name your kingdoms before the invasion arrives, so you can follow who survives the chaos.
