How to Make WorldBox Battle Royale Maps (No Mods, Steam & Mobile)

This guide walks through building your own WorldBox battle royale: one map where many kingdoms fight it out. It works on both the Steam and mobile versions, with no mods needed.

In this guide: Setting up the map · Replaying with different species

How do I set up a WorldBox battle royale map?

  1. Start with non-magic biomes. Build your starting land from ordinary, non-magic biomes.
  2. Wall the kingdoms off. Use mountain and summit tiles to separate each kingdom from its neighbours, so every nation has room to develop before the fighting starts.
  3. Name your kingdoms. Rename each one so you can keep track of who is winning. More on naming kingdoms.
  4. Control the timeline. Speed time up to let the nations develop, then slow it down to watch the war closely.

Can I replay the map with different species?

Yes. The aim is a fun, dynamic map you can play again and again, each time with different species fighting for the land.
